IREE 2019 – Asia’s Largest Rail Transportation Event
IREE 2019— Asia’s largest event for the Rail Transportation Sector — is scheduled from 22-24 October 2019 at India’s premier exhibition venue, Aerocity, New Delhi, India. IREE 2019 will provide an opportunity to be part of the current initiatives of the largest ever modernisation and expansion plans of Indian Railways. While the exhibition will provide a platform for showcasing the latest technological advancements, new products and innovations directly to the large number of decision makers from Indian Railways to be present at IREE 2019. The concurrent conference, International Rail Conference (IRC), will open up new avenues for learning about the modern technologies available for the Indian Rail Transportation Sector through networking sessions. IREE 2019 will bring exhibitors and delegates from across the globe with a focus on continuous modernisation and expansion of Indian Railways.

Railways has been a priority sector for the Government in India. The sector experienced a transformational growth in the last five years through concerted measures on prioritizing investments in important areas – dedicated freight corridors, high speed rail, high capacity rolling stock, last mile rail linkages, port connectivity, and attracting private and foreign direct investment.
The International Rail Conference (IRC) 2019, with the theme: Indian Railway – Riding High the Technology Wave would focus on the vision of the government for sector including ‘Make in India’, National Policies on Logistics and Advanced Manufacturing, Cutting Edge Technologies and Exports Potential.
IRC 2019 will bring together policy makers, corporate leaders from around the globe and is expected to have a participation of 20 major countries and over 600 Industry leaders.
RAIL SECURE INDIA 2019
In recent years the rail industry has increased its focus on security and passenger safety provoked by a rise in incidents of such as thefts, vandalism, and even terrorism. The bombing events in different parts of the country and overseas are signs that rail and metro systems are also vulnerable points for carrying out terrorist attacks against large groups of people. For the safety of passengers it has become imperative for the Indian Railways and the Urban Mass Transport System in India to install modern and effective security systems.
But how do you effectively protect an infrastructure as geographically diverse as Indian Railway network? With stations, tunnels, tracks, bridges, and rolling stock spread over hundreds of kilometers, it presents quite a formidable challenge.
Based on this theme Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing the first security focused Railway exhibition and conference along with the 13th IREE from 22 – 24 October at the Aerocity, New Delhi.
The event will benefit with the wide range of exhibitors, Government delegations, decision makers and business visitors from around the globe being present under one platform, as it is being held concurrently with the International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE 2019) – The second largest Rail Transportation show in the world.
The exhibition will showcase the latest in technology and services, launch new products and sustainable solutions, explore new markets and customers, and facilitate the possibility of joint ventures and partnerships. It would also be an excellent networking opportunity with industry peers and leaders & policy and decision makers.
